- Amendments to Rules, Regulations, and Ordinances Every year before the season, you can propose new rules, regulations, and ordinances for the upcoming season. This will be adopted based on a majority vote by the league.
Article IV: League Structure
- Season Schedule 14 weeks, randomized opponents before the season begins via me eating corn with everyone's name on it and then the order I shit them out is the order you draft. Or I'll just use NFL.com's randomize function.
- Playoff Structure
- Winner's Bracket: Weeks 15, 16, and 17. 6 teams, top 2 teams get a bye, 1 week per matchup.
- Shit Bracket: Bottom 4 teams, weeks 16 and 17, but we don't really talk about these losers.
- Tiebreakers Whatever the hell NFL.com does. We've never had one, so I fully expect the league to collapse once we have a tie. Whatever the rule is, it'll probably fuck Eric.
Article V: Rosters and Lineups
- Roster Size 15 spots
- Starting Lineup 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 DEF, 2 RB/WR/TE (no piece of shit kicker)
- Bench and Injured Reserve 6 bench spots, no IR
Article VI: Draft and Free Agency
- Draft Procedures Snake, with randomized order
- Waiver Period I don't really know except that Dave doesn't like it
- Free Agent Acquisition We use an FAAB budget, and FAs lock at their respective game times
Article VII: Keepers
- Keeper Allotment:
- The first place and last place teams from the previous season can keep only 1 player.
- All other teams can keep 2 players.
- Keeper Duration:
- Players can only be kept for one season. After that, they return to the draft pool.
- Draft Position Adjustment:
- A player kept for the next season is retained at one round earlier than their original draft position. For example, a player drafted in the 3rd round will be kept as a 2nd round pick.
- Players originally drafted in the 1st round cannot be kept.
- Undrafted Players and Free Agents:
- An undrafted player picked up as a free agent is assigned an 8th round value if kept.
- For players who were drafted but then picked up as free agents, their keeper value is the higher of their draft round or the 8th round. You can only keep one such undrafted free agent.
- Traded Picks:
- If you trade away a draft pick, the value of the keeper associated with that pick is adjusted by one round earlier. For example, if you have a player valued as a 7th round keeper but trade away your 7th round pick, that player becomes a 6th round keeper.
Article VIII: Trades
- Trade Deadlines Before week 12's Thursday Night Game
- Trade Approval Process Commissioner Approval mostly for expedience since no one votes in time. But if a trade seems super unfair or like kabitzing, I'll push it to the group for approval.
- Trade Disputes Pistols at dawn
